Cinquefoglie Puglia Rosso IGT Primitivo

Named for the early ripening of its grapes, the native Primitivo variety from the countryside of Gioia del Colle, in the province of Bari, gradually spread throughout Apulia and much of southern Italy. The use of traditional training systems and more meticulous winemaking has led to exceptional production and to its rediscovery by the wider public.

Puglia Rosso IGT Primitivo Cinquefoglie is a wine with a bold character, featuring an intense ruby-red color and a broad bouquet of crisp dark fruits, blueberry and black cherry, with spicy notes of cocoa and licorice. On the palate it is harmonious and persistent. Its complexity and robustness make it an ideal red wine for braised dishes, roasted meats, and other traditional cuisine.
